Dishes
on this day the weather was extra warm as the sun was in the blue sky high at noon
it was after the Free lunch time so being a slave, this girl knew it was her duty to
clean up all the dishes, so she go around and get a basket and start to remove all the
dirty dishes. scraping all the left over on each plate to the bosks, and any left in the
pans she put in a bowl and put in the chillary, then stacking up all the dishes she get
two bucket of water from the river, and set them on a fire near by and warm them up to do the dishes
while it warm up girl go to the supplie tent to get the soap to wash them, and some rep cloths holding
them in her tiny hands, she go back out to the fire to check on the water, as she look in it was steaming
so the girl drop the soap into one bucket, and lift them and carry them into the servery and start to wash all the vessals
first by putting them into the hot soapy water using a rep cloth she wash inside each one then outside
then down the stem there are 4 in all so after all are wash this one dip them in and out the water placing them
upside down to drip dry as she begin to wash the she set them in the wash water to soak as she get all the vessals
picked up and put away, going back to the dishes taking the rep cloth and washing each plate clean then lower it into
the rinse water, take it out wipe it dry, then stack them on top of each other till all are done
then she pick them up and carry them to their places, looking at them shine in the sunlight
girl smile at her job going well, next are the silverwares so girl drop them into the bucket and reach in and take
one out at a time and scrub them, then move them to the other bucket pulling them out wiping them dry then putting them away
last is the pan the food was cooked in ande lower it into the water to rinse it after she dry it and put it away
all is done girl clean up her mess and go to let the Free know it was done
